The Blessings of Botox in 2014

This year has been an extraordinary year for my patients in countless ways and I want to touch on the Blessings of Botox in 2014. The majority of patients find out about our Botox treatment program while searching on the internet or from a vaginismus forum. The stories of other women getting cured and getting pregnant gives them hope that their desire for an intimate relationship with their partner and for a baby can materialize into reality. Once treated, these patients are very motivated to be successful with their dilation and progressing to intercourse.

The Blessings of Botox in 2014 are evident. What joy I get from reading a VaginismusMD Forum post, receiving an e-mail, or getting a telephone call from treated patients that they are expecting a child! After 9 years of treating patients for vaginismus, many of my patients have been able to get pregnant and have a child – some have even had two pregnancies and now have two children. With each and every one, I feel their joy and happiness in their conceiving and giving birth.

Recently, on the VaginismusMD Forum, several of our patients have shared their personal stories regarding the Blessings of Botox in 2014.

“I just wanted to share on here that I am seven weeks pregnant!!! :) :) I have my first appointment on June 16th (10 weeks) and am anxiously awaiting it and praying that this will be a strong, healthy pregnancy. :)  We are so thrilled and excited and SO thankful to Dr. Pacik and all the staff for helping make this dream a reality!! :)”

“Hello All! I just wanted to send along this additional note of encouragement and gratitude… Two years ago today, my husband and I met Dr. Pacik for the first time — and his procedure changed our lives. Like so many on this forum, I was completely unable to have sex with my husband. At 39 + and two years married, I felt utterly frustrated, misunderstood, and isolated. Thanks to Dr. Pacik and his team, after just a few weeks post treatment and dilation, we were able to have pain-free sexual relations. Absolutely incredible. Today I am adding one additional post-script: my husband and I are now six months pregnant…. awaiting a baby girl this September. The miracle continues : ) For anyone questioning this procedure, take this to heart. Fear not! May you know all that life can offer…. ! Thank you, Dr. Pacik!!”

“I am so blessed to say that my husband and I are expecting our first little one at the end of December! I am so very thankful to Dr. Pacik and his wonderful staff for everything that they do for their patients – it is truly a blessing. If you are still contemplating whether or not you should go through with the procedure, don’t think about it for another moment for it will truly change your life.  My cycle was a week and a day late and on the last day I felt horrible all day at work and just didn’t know what was going on. I decided to stop by the store after work for a pregnancy test, just to be sure but never really imagined it would be positive. I got home and woke my husband up (he was asleep at the time because he was working the night shift) and told him that I’d planned to take at test because I hadn’t felt well all day. Lo and behold, the test was positive (within a matter of seconds)! I called the infertility office the following day and they scheduled me for blood work (to confirm pregnancy) within the next few days. The doctor was so surprised (since we’d only been to the consultation visit and when he performed the ultrasound he indicated that it appeared that I may have endometriosis) when we saw him again and said that there was a good chance we were pregnant when we were at the initial appointment (although the baby would have been way too tiny to see at that time)! So amazing! Since that time, I’ve had three other trans vaginal ultrasounds and finally about two weeks ago I had a regular ultrasound and we found out that we’re having a BOY! I cannot explain the rush of emotions I felt when I saw our little one zooming around during the ultrasound (he just wouldn’t stay still lol) and covering his face. It is all just so surreal. If it wasn’t for God and his earthly angels (Dr. Pacik, his wife and staff) none of this would have been possible!”

“Hello Forum Folks! I underwent Dr. Pacik’s procedure in January 2014. Receiving Botox for Vaginismus was both the best decision we have ever made and one of the most painful experiences of my life. I don’t want to scare anyone considering the procedure, but I want to be honest about my journey. The pain was well worth it! And I would do it 20 times over if I had to! After my procedure, we returned home and the progressive dilation begun it was incredibly hard and emotional. There was more pain than I expected, but we just took it one day at a time. By the end of February, my husband and I were able to have intercourse for the first time ever! It was a miracle! I continued dilating daily for the next few months, I slowly tapered off because we were having sex regularly and I wasn’t having any pain at all! In April/May we decided to toss out the birth control pills. We used an alternate form of birth control for about a month to get the pill out of my system. Then we just decided to go for the gold and see what happens! We found out we were 4 weeks pregnant on July 9th. I am now 11 weeks along and getting ready to start my 2nd trimester. For so long, the dream of children seemed a completely impossible idea. Dr. Pacik made our dream a reality and we cannot thank him enough! Don’t lose hope and don’t lose sight of your dream! Know that you aren’t alone in this. Thank you Dr. Pacik! Talk about a life changer!”
