An elegant mid-sized vibrator – perfect for vaginismus patients or first-time users of a vibrator
The LIV is an elegant rechargeable mid-size vibrator designed by LELO Sweden, famous for their sex toys. The Lelo Liv has a gently curved design that will fit comfortably inside the body. The diameter is between the #4 and #5 Pure Romance silicone or Pacik glass dilators. The insertable top portion is made of velvet-textured silicone over a firm core for safe and stimulating play while the bottom is crafted of smooth, seamless plastic with a stylish control pad built directly in. A Travel Lock feature also allows this toy to be “locked”, so as not to turn on accidentally in transit. This vibrating dilator can be used for external stimulation to help relax, for penetration or as a device between the partners for added stimulation for the partner. These are not water proof and cannot be used in a shower or bathtub. A water or oil based lube is used. Silicone lubes can alter the structure of silicone dilators and silicone toys and should not be used.
The Lelo Liv offers 5 stimulation modes, from soft flutter to intense pulsation – each individually responsive to the user’s desire. The 5 modes are steady vibration, 3 escalating pulses, an up-and down vibration mode and 7 power settings. This vibrator never needs batteries. Simply slide the included charger into the port on the base, plug in and in two hours, you will have enough power for 4 hours.
The Lelo LIV is made with FDA-approved and phthalate-free PC-ABS/silicone. The LIV is packaged in an elegant gift box and luxury satin pouch for appropriate storage, complete with charger, user manual and a full 1-year LELO warranty.

We feel that the Lelo Liv is appropriate for our vaginismus patients and are very pleased with it design and quality. The reason I recommend a vibrating dilator to our vaginismus patients is that I feel that these vibrating dilators allow the muscles to be stretched while reducing stress and promoting relaxation, which can cause muscles elsewhere in the body to relax. Combining aromatherapy and oils with specific mood enhancing scents can also be beneficial to your vibrating dilating session.
The overall effect of massage, manipulation of the soft tissues, is to cause relaxation. That might be all psychological, but some data suggest real changes in tissue chemistry due to the manipulation. The relaxation could be a reaction to a decrease in waste products and muscle tension. Whatever the reason people love massages. They always have and always will.
